So pair #3! We have here the Ric-Rac Rib pattern from the Little Box of Socks. The yarn is Cascade 220 Quatro. Knit on 3.75mm needles. Fun pattern, but the knitting into the back of the second stitch on the needle and then knit the first stitch as normal really hurt my hands.

Pair #4! We have Baby's First Sock by Ann Budd. Yarn is Sirdar Snuggly 4ply, and knit on 2.5mm needles. Fun, but starting the round with purl stitches hurts my brain. I didn't use the pattern on the sole of the foot because I wanted to stop the purling! So on Saturday its World Wide Knit In Public Day. Here in Bath we will be meeting up at the Foyer at Green Park Station from 2pm to 5pm. Please come and join us! There will be knitting, spinning, showing off what we have made, plus the chance to learn to knit (if you don't knit already), and we're just a rather friendly bunch who are up for a chat. So come along, bring yourself, knitting and a chair :D Hope to see you there!

Agh I ended up starting a needle with a purl on my ribbed socks, it's horrible! Shifted everything along one in the end.

I wish it could've been that easy! It was a basketweave stitch, purl 5, knit 3 for 3 rows, then sorta switch... so I was always going to have a purl at the start!

Did you see the new Knitty is up? Theres a sock thats knit inside out, so its practically all knit, then you turn it inside out so the purl bumps are the pattern! I've gotta makes me that :D
